I bought a designer handbag from this company. The product color description was light tan. When I received the bag, the color was closer to an orange brown. I have never complained about a designer bag but this was an ugly color and definitely not light tan. Plus I suspect it may not be authentic. To top it off, it was an anniversary present from my husband so very disappointing. I called BTR and explained the issue with the color and that I wanted a refund back to my credit card since the color did not match the description. They said they would note my account and that I should return the product and they would review. I sent in the bag and called again to note that I did not want a credit since I paid $1000 and did not want that as a credit. Once again I was told they would note my account. I finally received an email notification that they issued a BTR credit. They didn't even address my request for a credit back to my credit card. I'm very frustrated and disappointed. My anniversary present is turning into a nightmare. Plus I saw my bag re-listed on their website for $300 more than what I paid. I know it was the bag I returned because they told me that they didn't have any more when I first called. So not only are they benefiting from my return, they are also holding my money hostage. I'll probably have to take it up with my credit card company but this is no way to treat your customers.
